Avbob is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join their team as Cleaners (General Workers) at the Pretoria Prep Centre. Description:
Key Performance Areas:
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and dusting of furniture
- Ensure high hygienic standards in the office.
- Clean toilets and replenish toilet paper, hand towels and soap every morning.
- Service toilets at regular intervals, to make sure there are enough supplies and the toilets are clean.
- Empty dustbins, wipe down communal surfaces (doors, walls and mirrors, windows, railings)
- Prepare and hand over of medical waste to approved supplier
- Notify management of any repairs required
- Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Qualifications: Abet level 4 or Grade 9, with the ability to read and write.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in cleaning roles is required.
Key Performance Areas
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain office hygiene.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas.
- Safely prepare and dispose of medical waste.
- Report any necessary repairs to management promptly.
