SALES ASSISTANT – POLOKWANE

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a vibrant individual who is passionate about sales. The duties of a Sales Assistant include selling, replenishing, and merchandising.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide high-class customer service, to assist consumers in identifying and purchasing desired products. The goal is to deliver excellent customer service while also increasing the company’s growth and revenue through increased sales.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a fully stocked store.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
• Welcome and greet customers.
• Manage point-of-sale processes.
• Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies’ policies and procedures.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year sales experience (retail environment advantageous)
• Matric (required)
• Must currently reside in Polokwane.
