Position Overview: This 6-month learnership programme offers all the training you need for success.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

Join our reputable dealership sales teams and embark on a journey to become a skilled Vehicle Sales Executive and walk away with a full Sales Training qualification and practical on-the-job experience. By joining the Motus Retail division, you’ll be part of the largest automotive group in the country, with over 90 dealerships nationwide.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • South African Citizen
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Clear criminal and credit record

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • The ideal candidate should have a passion for retail sales
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn

Responsibilities & Duties of a Vehicle Sales Trainee

  1. Sales Support & Customer Service
  • Assist sales executives with daily sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Welcome and engage with potential customers in the showroom.
  • Answer customer queries and provide product information.
  • Accompany customers on test drives under supervision.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  1. Product Knowledge & Training
  • Learn about BMW vehicle models, specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Stay up to date with current promotions, finance options, and after-sales services.
  • Demonstrate vehicles to customers, highlighting key features.
  1. Administrative Duties
  • Assist in preparing quotations, sales contracts, and finance applications.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system.
  • Support in processing vehicle orders and delivery documentation.
  • File and manage sales documents in compliance with dealership standards.
  1. Showroom & Vehicle Presentation
  • Ensure vehicles on display are clean, presentable, and well-arranged.
  • Update price tags, brochures, and promotional material in the showroom.
  • Assist with stock checks and vehicle movements when required.
  1. Sales Process & Target Support
  • Learn and understand the BMW sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Shadow senior sales consultants to gain experience.
  • Support in achieving sales targets by generating leads and following up with prospects.
  1. Team & Dealership Support
  • Work collaboratively with sales, finance, and service teams.
  • Participate in dealership meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Uphold BMW’s brand values, image, and customer care standards.
  1. Personal Development
  • Complete all required learnership modules and assessments.
  • Apply training knowledge in practical, real-world sales situations.
  • Continuously improve communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
